It now shows up in a text, a DM, or a disappearing Snapchat photo.<\/p>\r\n<p>Welcome to the digital battlefield, where <strong>sexting<\/strong> is becoming shockingly common among teens.<\/p>\r\n<p>But what is sexting, really? And how can we, as Christian parents, respond with truth <em>and<\/em> grace?<\/p>\r\n<h2>What Is Sexting?<\/h2>\r\n<p>Sexting is sending or receiving sexually explicit messages, images, or videos through a phone or other digital device.<\/p>\r\n<p>Sometimes it starts as a joke. Sometimes it\u2019s the result of peer pressure. Sometimes it\u2019s part of a relationship.<\/p>\r\n<p>But no matter how it starts, <strong>sexting always carries spiritual, emotional, and even legal consequences.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<h2>The Real Impact on Teens<\/h2>\r\n<p>Many teens think sexting is harmless. \u201cIt\u2019s just between us,\u201d they say.
